July 2011: Raphael Hunger and Michael Joham will receive the ITG Award 2011 for their publication in the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.

December 2010: MSV has officially moved to the Institute for Information and Communication Technology in the EE  & IT Department of TUM.

December 2010: Wolfgang Utschick has become elected member of the Technical Committee of Signal Processing for Communications and Networking (SPCOM-TC) of the IEEE Signal Processing Society.

December 2010: Professor Masahiro Yukawa teaches a block seminar (Dec 6-8) "Adaptive Filtering Based on Projection Method".

December 2010: GOLD Best Paper Award at IEEE-Globecom Conference for the contribution "Large System Performance of Interference Alignment in Single-Beam MIMO Networks", authored by David A. Schmidt, Wolfgang Utschick, and Michael L. Honig.

November 2010: Johannes Brehmer receives the VDE Award 2010 for his excellent Doctoral Thesis "Utility Maximization in Nonconvex Wireless Systems".

November 2010: Christoph Hellings receives the VDE Award 2010 for his excellent Diploma Thesis "Power Minimization in Parallel Vector Broadcast Channels with Linear Precoding".

July 2010: Peter Breun and Wolfgang Utschick receive the Best Session Paper Award at the American Control Conference 2010, Baltimore, Maryland, USA, for their paper "Optimal Transmitters for Control Over a Noisy Link with Imperfect Feedback".

July 2010: Professor Michael L. Honig from Northwestern University, USA, is guest professor at MSV.

April-July 2010: Professor Ralf R. Müller from Norwegian University of Science and Technology gives twelve lectures on Random Matrix Theory at MSV.

December 2009: Best Paper Award at IEEE-Globecom Conference for the contribution "IDMA versus CDMA: Detectors, Performance and Complexity", authored by Katsutoshi Kusume, Gerhard Bauch, and Wolfgang Utschick.

September 2009: Sommerschool in the South Tyrolean Alps (Sarntal) - Course 7: Optimization in Communications and Signal Processing teached by Johannes Huber, Wolfgang Utschick and Ralf Müller.
