In our website you will find information regarding our lectures and research activities as well as information about the focus project COIN of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Our main research topics are, among others, the optimization of cellular phone networks, digital sender- and receiver-signal processing in interference networks, signal processing in MIMO systems with low complexity, energy efficiency in mobile communication systems, information theory in multihop networks and relay systems, robust methods for transmission channel estimation and beam forming in satellite networks.

In our research we are especially interested in the areas spanning information theory and fundamental principles in mathematics as well as particular issues of practical implementation of complex algorithms in hardware and software.
